A family-owned HVAC contractor Toronto can actually reach

Best HVAC Toronto is a full-service residential and commercial HVAC contractor working across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Our crew brings more than twenty years of combined Ontario experience across furnaces, air conditioning, boilers, heat pumps, gas lines, water heaters, ductwork, and commercial systems.

What we are best known for is Enbridge Red Tag compliance. When the utility shuts off a household's gas, that family has no heat and no hot water until a licensed technician corrects the fault and signs the clearance. We built our reputation on answering those calls quickly and clearing most of them within 24 hours.

How we work

Diagnose first, then recommend

The HVAC trade has a reputation problem, and most of it comes down to one habit: recommending equipment before diagnosing the actual fault. A cracked heat exchanger, an oversized furnace, and a restricted return duct can all present as the same complaint, and only one of them is fixed by a new furnace.

So we measure. Combustion analysis with carbon monoxide readings, gas pressure with a manometer, static pressure across the air handler, airflow at the registers, refrigerant superheat and subcooling. Then we tell you what we found, show you the readings, and give you a written price.

Sometimes that means telling a homeowner their furnace has a few good seasons left, or that a duct correction will solve the problem for a fraction of what a replacement would cost. That conversation is why our customers come back.

Reviews

What our customers say

4.9 out of 5 from 150+ customer reviews

Enbridge red-tagged our furnace on a Friday night and shut off the gas. Best HVAC Toronto had a technician out within two hours, found the cracked heat exchanger, and had us re-certified and heating again the next morning. Calm, clear, and no scare tactics.

PPriya S.North York

Replaced our 18-year-old furnace with a high-efficiency unit and walked us through the Ontario rebates. Written quote up front, no hidden fees, and the crew left the mechanical room cleaner than they found it.

MMichael T.Etobicoke

Our AC died during the July heat wave. They came out same day, diagnosed a refrigerant issue, and had us cool again fast. Honest about repair versus replace, and they didn't push us into a new system.

SSandra L.Scarborough

We had a cold-climate heat pump installed for our Markham home. They handled all the rebate paperwork and it's kept us warm through the winter. Very knowledgeable about the dual-fuel setup.

DDavid C.Markham

Needed a gas line run for our backyard BBQ and outdoor kitchen. TSSA-certified, permits handled, pressure test done properly. Fair price quoted by run length. Would use again.
