Last updated: September 4, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using besthvactoronto.ca, you agree to these terms. They apply to all work carried out by Best HVAC Toronto in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, and are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.

3. Quotes and estimates

On-site estimates for installations are free and carry no obligation. Every job is quoted in writing before work begins, and that written quote is the price you pay for the scope described in it. If additional work is discovered once the job is under way, for example concealed venting or piping that does not meet code, we will stop, explain the finding, and provide a revised written price for your approval before continuing.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Equipment pricing may change if a manufacturer alters its pricing before the work is scheduled.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless stated. We accept cash, credit card, e-transfer, and cheque. Financing is available on approved credit, and lease-to-own arrangements are available on qualifying installations. Payment for service and repair work is due on completion. Installation payment terms are set out in the written quote.

5. Scheduling and cancellation

Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booked appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments where our technician cannot access the property may be subject to a call-out charge. Emergency dispatch, once a technician has been sent, is chargeable whether or not work proceeds.

6. Access and site conditions

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the equipment and the work area. Where equipment is obstructed, or where conditions such as asbestos, mould, pest infestation, or structural defects are discovered, we may pause work until the condition is addressed by an appropriate specialist. We are not responsible for delays or costs arising from concealed conditions we could not reasonably have identified beforehand.

7. Warranty

Installations carry a 2-year warranty on our labour from the date of completion. Equipment carries the manufacturer's parts warranty, typically 5 to 10 years depending on the product, which we register on your behalf. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty on the specific part replaced and the labour associated with it.

Warranty coverage does not apply where:

  • The equipment has been modified, serviced, or repaired by another party
  • Required annual maintenance has not been carried out
  • Damage results from misuse, power surges, flooding, freezing, or other events beyond our control
  • The failure is caused by a pre-existing condition we identified and quoted for but which you declined

8. Gas safety and red tags

Where a technician identifies an unsafe condition on a gas appliance, we are legally required to tag the appliance and, where the hazard is immediate, shut off the gas supply. This obligation exists regardless of the work you originally booked. Only a licensed gas technician may correct the fault and sign the clearance required for the utility to restore service. Removing a tag or operating a tagged appliance is an offence and voids insurance and warranty coverage.

9. Limitation of liability

Best HVAC Toronto maintains $2 million in general liability insurance and WSIB coverage on all technicians. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the work in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of business or property damage arising from pre-existing conditions, third-party workmanship, or equipment failure outside the warranty terms above.

10. Rebates and incentive programs

Where we submit a rebate application on your behalf, we will do so accurately and promptly. Final eligibility and approval rest with the program administrator, and we cannot guarantee an outcome or the continued availability of any program. Rebate amounts referenced in a quote are estimates based on the program terms in force at the time of quoting.

11. Website content and intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, and branding, is the property of Best HVAC Toronto and may not be reproduced without permission. Guidance published on this site is general information and does not replace an on-site assessment by a licensed technician.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you book applies to that work.
